HappyHappyHappy!

First off, I want to thank you all for being nice to my sick, slower posting self this week. Next week I'll be back with thinky-ness and real weddings and magic. Also, less of a cough.

Second of all, I just have to say, I'm running off tomorrow to celebrate my biiiirrrrrthhhhddddaaayyyy!* I'm turning almost-30 this year, but I have zero anxiety, because I know by the time I turn 30 I'll be married. Which is accomplishment enough, especially if you happen to know just who I'm lucky enough to be getting married TO. Yep, I defiantly am getting the better end of *that* deal.

So have a wonderful wonderful weekend all! (Especially happy wishes Chelsey, the Team Practical member getting married on my birthday. Yes. I remember these kinds of things.)

*You are so not surprised that I'm an Aries.

Happy Birthday! I will be getting married next year 10 days after I turn 30. I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate my 30th than marrying the man I love.

Meg,

No need to feel anxious about 30, it's actually pretty cool--clean slate, you know?

Twenty-nine was the rough one for me. I went into it thinking, "Have I done everything I wanted to do in my twenties? Did I live it up? Did I slack off enough? Life is about to get serious and I only have one year left!!!" The best I can give is, "No regrets."

Two years into my thirties, I can say they are partly serious, partly awesome, and all around spectacular.

Happy birthday!

Of course their is nothing wrong with turning 30 and being unmarried! It will just be my particular accomplishment of the year of 29. :)

Happy birthday!

And as a nearly 34 year-old (who's getting married in a month to the father of my child), I really want to second cindy. Seriously, the 30s are just great! I'm not just talking about myself, but there's something about women when they reach this age, confidence, self-realization, less angst? I wouldn't go back for the world.

Happy Birthday! I'm getting married on my best friend's birthday, but I got her permission before booking the venue. I'll have to make it up to her, I'm sure, making her do all that work on her bday...

Anyhow, best of luck getting well, nasty nasty colds went/going around this year.

I've only posted here one time, so I don't think you can possibly be talking about me, but it seems like a strange coincedence that there's another Chelsey getting married today. 'Cause that's me.

Happy Birthday! I love your blog. And I hope you don't get like 2 hours of sleep and wake up at 6 a.m. on your wedding day because you're SO EXCITED. ;-)

Happy Birthday Meg! I just turned 30 a week ago! We didn't have the big blowout party I always thought I would, but then again I never thought we'd be having a wedding, so the trade-off is good I think.

Happy Birthday! Both of our birthdays and in January (and the mister turned the big 3-0 this year) and we also spent a lot of smushy time saying to each other, "by our next birthdays, we will be married." Aw.
